Putting the Science in Fiction is getting a companion book! Putting the Fact in Fantasy been officially announced. In Putting the Fact in Fantasy Dan Koboldt gathered essays written by experts for his popular Fact in Fantasy blog series. Like Putting the Science in Fiction, I’m contributing an essay or two to the anthology. I enjoyed working with Dan, and it’s going to be fun to do it again. Look for it in Spring of 2022.

I’m unsure just how many essays I’m contributing, one or two. Either way, my essays will be about fighting based on my study of the martial arts. For Putting the Science in Fiction, I had to expand the essays originally written for Dan’s site. I imagine the same will have to go here. The opportunity to revisit the writing will be interesting considering all that I’ve learned since I submitted them to Dan.

Though publication is a year and a half off, I’m excited. I don’t publish much other than here and at my Patreon, but the process was fun last time. Now that we can discuss it, I’m sure I’ll write on here about the lessons that I learn going through the process again.
