Engineer
Eric is an engineer, writer, and recreational martial artist, living just outside St. Louis, MO. He works as a structural engineer specializing in aircraft with interest in static analysis, metal fatigue, and damage tolerance. Basically, his job is to ensure the wings don’t fall off the plane. Eric graduated with both a bachelor’s and a master’s of science in aerospace engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla, which is now the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Writer
In December of 2012, Eric graduated with a master’s of fine arts in creative writing from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. This night program helped Eric take his own writing seriously. Since then, he continues to practice his craft, blog, and send out stories to look for a home. His current projects fit into the science fiction and fantasy genre, which Eric has been a fan of his entire life. Check out his writing credits.
Blogger
Eric explores his interests through blogging in areas of politics, science, writing, and book reviews, which comprise significant parts of his blogging goals. Martial Artist
As a recreational martial artist, Eric achieved black belt rank in Counterpoint Tactical System and Cacoy Doce Pares under Zach Whitson. Currently, he trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Saint Charles Mixed Martial Arts as part of Team Vaghi. Eric earned the rank of blue belt and is working hard to progress towards the BJJ black belt. Since his ranks were earned under high quality instructors, Eric take pride in all of his martial arts accomplishments.
